Full job description

The requirements are as follows:

• Grade 12.
• Proven work experience as a Sales Representative.
• Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in the Retail sector.
• Must have own reliable transport and valid code 08 drivers license.
• Any tertiary qualification in Sales or Marketing will be an advantage.
• Must be willing to travel extensively and to work outside office hours when required.
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Excellent selling and negotiation skills.
• A commitment to excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Alnet products is an added advantage.
• Highly motivated and target driven with proven track record in sales.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Daily tasks will include but will not be limited to:

• Visiting clients and evaluate needs.
• Reaching out to potential clients and promote Alnet products.
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
• Reach out to customer leads through Cold calling.
• Generating leads.
• Attend exhibitions.
• Merchandising.
• In store sales support.
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Liaising with Internal Sales and the Warehouse manager to ensure orders and delivery requirements are met.
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
