We are a 27 year old lubricants manufacturer based in Jacobs, Durban, Natal.

We seek a recent graduate with excellent Computer Literacy and Attention to Detail. Must be very well Organized, Prompt in taking action and to be Professional in all Company matters.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Maintain the Company’s Calendar, Tasks & Deliverables, and Meeting Minutes and to Follow Up and provide regular Progress Reports on the aforementioned

(Candidate must be able to Prioritize the important and urgent from the less important and non-urgent. Must be able to Follow up on all open tasks)

2. Must be Contactable and must Respond Promptly to calls. Must answer emails within a day.

3. Data Capture on Excel or Google Sheets with Attention to Detail

4. Read, Understand, and Update Company Documents

5. Obtain and followup on Procurement Quotations

6. Perform other office duties as assigned to you to support the Team

Education and experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent with good English marks – minimum C grade
  • Prior education in Office Administration
  • Prior experience in Office Administration

Required skills and qualifications

  • Good Computer Literacy in Excel or Google Sheets with Attention to Detail.
  • Must Maintain a Calendar and be very well organized
  • Have the ability to Follow Up on Deadlines, Appointments and Tasks – without “dropping the ball”
  • Must be Contactable and Highly Responsive – respond promptly to calls and answer emails within a day
  • Must be able to self learn from Online materials and to take Initiative to learn
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to manage conflict
  • Must work well within a high-performing Team

Contract terms: First 3 months is a probation period to evaulate suitability or competence for the role.

May suit someone who has an interest in Office Administration and would like to apply these skills in a dynamic manufacturing business environment.

Alternatively, a computer literate candidate who is meticulous, prompt, can deliver on deadlines and is self motivated will flourish in this role.

Pay: R5 000,00 – R10 000,00 per month
