Position: Close Protection Officer

Location: Varies – may involve travel to different locations within 10km radius of your location

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Hours: Full-time, flexible hours including evenings and weekends

• Psira Registered
• Firearm License (if any, but not required)
• CPO Certifications
• Clear ID Photo
• Own transport (if any, but not required)

  Job Summary:
  
  As a Close Protection Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of clients, typically high-profile individuals or groups, by providing close personal protection services. You will work as part of a team to assess potential risks, plan and implement security measures, and respond to any threats or emergencies that may arise.
  
  Key Responsibilities:
  
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments and providing security advice to clients
  • Planning and implementing security protocols and procedures
  • Maintaining a high level of situational awareness and responding quickly to potential threats
  • Providing close personal protection to clients during travel, events, and day-to-day activities if and when required.
  • Monitoring potential threats and taking appropriate action to mitigate risks
  • Communicating effectively with clients, team members, and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Collaborating with law enforcement and other security personnel as needed
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in security or close protection-related field
  • Strong physical fitness and ability to handle high-stress situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in first aid and emergency response techniques
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if any, but not required)
  • Ability to pass background checks and obtain necessary security clearances
  • Additional certifications such as firearms training or defensive tactics are a plus
