Job Advert Summary
Rustenburg Girls’ High School is looking to replace an experienced Mathematics teacher. This full time SGB educator post is available from 1 January 2026.
Only short-listed candidates will be contacted and invited to an interview and will be taken on a tour of the school and expected to teach a lesson. We reserve the right not to fill the posts.

Minimum Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in teaching the CAPs curriculum in the FET phase is essential (minimum five years preferred).
- Experience of teaching at Grade 12 level is essential (minimum three years preferred).
- Experience as an NSC Marker would be an advantage.
- Experience teacher Further Studies Mathematics (formerly AP Maths) would be an advantage.
- Experience coaching Olympiad or Competition teams would be an advantage.
- Must be computer literate and competent in the use of technology for teaching and learning.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicant will teach Mathematics from Grade 8 to Grade 12
The successful applicant will be expected to play a full role in the extra-mural life of the school, including as a Tutor in the Vertical Tutor System.
