Job Advert Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Grade R Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will bring a love for early childhood development, a commitment to inclusive education, and the ability to create a supportive, engaging learning environment.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 7 years’ experience teaching Grade R.
- Demonstrated expertise in play-based learning and inclusive education.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- SACE registration.
- Police Clearance Certificate, including confirmation of being cleared against:
- the Criminal Clearance Register,
- the Child Protection Register, and
- the Sexual Offenders Register

Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, play-based lessons for Grade R learners.
- Foster a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents and support staff.
- Lead and manage classroom activities to promote holistic development.
- Contribute to school initiatives, events and professional development.
